Mumerus creates theatre projects, concerts, workshops and performances beyond conventional stages, collaborating with cultural organisations in Poland and abroad.

A literary and musical journey through centuries of Polish ballads: stories of crime, revenge, betrayal and love passed from mouth to mouth. Actors and musicians bring together sung and spoken accounts from medieval fairs, urban courtyards and more recent history.

A documentary theatre project exploring Polish–Czech relations through the figures of Lech and Czech. It examines the conflicts surrounding Cieszyn Silesia in 1918–1920, Zaolzie in 1938 and the intervention in Czechoslovakia in 1968.

Actors and musicians explore the theme of time through Polish Baroque poetry and music. Presented at Kraków’s Archaeological Museum on 12 October 2025, the project brings together texts by Józef Baka, the Morsztyns, Daniel Naborowski and other writers.

Inspired by Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska’s poetry, this project brings the musicality of her writing into dialogue with live music, dance rhythms, memories and objects. It was developed for Kraków’s Night of Poetry at the Archaeological Museum.
